Heel/Toe options in an 87 944S?

Interesting as that's what I was trying to do in the end. I just wasn't getting used to it enough to be able to get it down to 2nd in time at the end of the straight. It doesn't like going 3rd to 2nd all that much so I ended up doing most of the track in 3rd and 4th gear...that's a whole other issue I am dealing with and not the context of this thread.
I did see a post about adjusting the brake pedal down a little. Thanks to all who have posted! I love learning about all this.

Run a 924S in ChumpCar -- we couldn't shift from 3rd to 2nd without going to 1st gear first. Tried to fix it -- and realized it was a feature :-) and left it as is.

Same car - same feet:
I use the ball of my foot on the brake and try to bang the gas with my heel. I don't actually hit it with my heel; the action of trying too gets you to make contact lower down with the side of your foot.
You should also consider making the blip last longer.

I have a spare Rennline throttle pedal available if you're interested in giving it a try. Can be mounted a little off center or you can use the toe extension as shown below. You could also easily fabricate a new mounting plate to use the heel extension that I cut off. $45 plus shipping, PM me if your interested.
