Thanks to Aspen Autosports for bailing me out at Mosport
Recently I was running my Cayman S at Mosport in Canada with the Northern New Jersey and Upper Canada PCA regions. I experienced a minor problem (which turned out to be a loose battery cable - my fault) and a bigger problem (a brake piston ejection - also my fault while rushing a brake bleed).
In both cases, Bob of Aspen Autosports came to my rescue with talent and good humor. He had plenty of other things to do, but when I asked for help, he was there with a smile.
2 thumbs up for his willingness to set aside what he was doing and help me out.
Oh, and Aspen grilled me a really nice burger in the process.

Glad to hear Rick.
Were you bleeding the brakes without a pad in place? I ejected a stuck piston once with compressed air. It sounded like gunfire.

Pressed for time, was bleeding brakes (pressure bleeder) and changing pads at same time. Trying to retract Pistons with the old pads, had pad in at an angle and it did not cover that piston.
Stupid to rush and I paid the price. But all was well.

Last time I was too rushed I ran over my running lawnmower with my diesel truck.

In the early 80s I did a handful of DE days with my 1980 Rx7. We had to remove the sunroof from the car to go on track. So, I was so excited to go on track that I ran over the sunroof.
The cosmic irony is that I bought an identical Rx7 last year (except a 1979) and the assclowns that delivered the car lost the sunroof in transport from NE to MA.
