Looking for a set of track day tires for 996 Turbo and pagid yellow front pads
I have stock twists with junk tires that I would like to mount some track day tires on. Otherwise, I would be interested in anyone who has a set of tires mounted on twists or similar.
Also, looking for a set of stock 996 Turbo sized Pagid yellows.
Looking to find something local or someone that could ship to me by Thursday.
PM or email at newnode@mac.com
Thanks in advance!
Al

Go get your Pagids from Northstar in Barrington.
Drive over to the Tire Rack in South Bend for the new shoes.

Good advice.
If you are driving to there event...and want some great multi-purpose tires, Nitto NT-01 will do the trick, 245s in the front 305 or 315 in the rear....Pagid pads are awesome, Yellow front, black rear....actually, your stock pads, assuming they are thick enough, may be just fine.....they are surprisingly good, at least on the 993 narrow body they are....
BTW, wide body solid wheels are readily available, sometimes even the hollow bodies...lighter = more expensive.
Just as a side note, stay away from O-Z wheels...they are prone to bending. I have bent 3 or 4, finally sold them all off at a significant loss of course. Kinesis three piece wheels, Forgestar 3 piece or CCW 3 piece (http://www.weldwheels.com/ccwheel/) when your get serious.
The advantage to 3 piece, bend an inner, fix or replace an inner, bend an outer, fix or replace an outer..crack a center, replace a center. +++They are lighter! Always a plus.
....I am so chatty today
