Videos from NJMP PCA DE - 6/25-26

I felt GREAT overall out on track this weekend! Learning a TON...including many off track aspects!! I've learned that for me, having an instructor that I 'click' is CRITICAL for me.

Enjoy the videos. :D You'll see in the first video the car shudders at the 6:24 mark.... I RAN OUTTA GAS!! :crying: :banghead::nono::icon107: another lesson for sure!

Thanks!

I'll be reaching out for the data logging system.

That's awesome. One of the best "data points" for improvement is fuel consumption! :D

More of the percentage of the lap under Wide Open Throttle! Congrats!

Was that the Blue run group? I was instructing in the black Lotus Elise. Nice driving!

Hey Terry. Yes, I believe it was blue. I started Saturday in the Green and then got promoted to blue for the last session or two. :bigbye:

Never admit to running out of gas on track or you'll be "that" guy. Always tell the flat tow guy it must be an electrical problem. Then fill up secretly back in the paddock. :)

Whatever setting you had the shifting on looked much better than what my 991 GT3 student was using at COTA. I swear it snapped my neck with every up shift. Seemed awfully hard on the car.

I didn't actually 'run' out of gas. I just got so low my car was pulling power. I'm assuming that's what it's doing. I can't imagine Porsche would let the fuel system run dry.
