I can't believe Kvyat hit him TWICE! Why only a ten second penalty - he should probably get a one race suspension.

However, he does appear to be taking responsibility saying it was his fault.

http://planetf1.com/news/kvyat-all-t...-came-from-me/

Hammy better pull his head out of his *** if he want to salvage this season.

EDIT: Kyvat is blaming a 4 time world champion. Talented driver but a douche extrodinaire.
Didn't see him blame anyone but himself in the Interview afterwards. The first hit was just a mistake from over enthusiasm. Left his braking too late. The 2nd was unlucky. SV backed off throttle mid corner and caused a major speed differential. It was rotten luck for both that DK smacked him into the wall. Not to mention for Danny Ric who drove the whole race with a damaged car, was put on the wrong (med) tyre and almost got into the points again.

Good to see some of the lower caste teams mix it up the pointier end. Must be heartening for McLaren to finally start showing some hope.

Boring race after first 2 minutes. Kvyat's carelessness and over aggressive driving are becoming a problem. He must have wanted to show off for Putin. He gets a 10 sec penalty for crashing into the back of a competitor not once, but twice in 5 seconds? WTF? That should be at least a 1 race suspension.

Patrick! I don't consider lapped cars to be running at the "pointier end." Only the top 5 cars finished on the lead lap, Merc, Ferrari & Williams. It sounds good to say McLaren finished 6th, but they were +1 lap from the leaders.

Just saw the interview immediately after the race with Kvyat - he didn't exactly take ownership at that point.

It seems the worm has turned as to Hammy and Nico. Its only four races in but I think Hammy has no steam this year and Nico is single minded.

surprised Christian Horner didn't radio Kvyat telling him to "hit the pace car" Kvyat's comment about the whole paddock being mad makes me wonder how long the line was outside the RB motorhome

My thoughts exactly. You would think an F1 driver would be well aware that you can't win a race on the first lap of the race, but you can definitely lose the race on the first lap.

Also, I could not help but notice Hamilton sulking like a little child in the room with his back turned towards everyone fiddling with his hat endlessly just prior to the podium ceremonies and then once back in the room after the ceremonies ended, sulking again with his back turned to everyone. I can understand why Hamilton would be disappointed in how the season is transpiring so far. But come on Lewis, stop acting like a spoiled little child. You are being paid tens of millions of dollars to be a professional. Why don't you start acting like one.

He didn't even congratulate Nico when he came out on the podium. He just stared straight ahead like nobody was there.

Why did Vetted try to put his front wing in the car and why did he drive the scooter back to the garage?

Kind of odd.

That being said, F1 is really holding my attention this year.

Go HAAS!

I blame him a lot less for the 2nd crash than the 1st...but the 1st caused the 2nd as Vettel slowed down so much. Put it this way, if there was no 1st crash and only the 2nd one, people would have been looking at this in a different light. Not saying I'm defending KitKat...just saying what I saw.

As for the McLarens being lapped, well so were the RBs. I'm just glad to see some of slower cars moving up in total speed. It feels like they are more than just mobile chicanes now.

Noticed this as well. Guessing he didn't want wing separated from car and ending up in a memorabilia shop or exposed to inspection by another team. Massive development goes into the wings. As for the scooter, guessing control freak.

Vettel has probably seen enough Russian Dash cam videos to take charge of the scooter!
