Default Sebring- where to stay?

Title says it all. I'm signed up for an event @Sebring. Do you guys stay at the hotel at the track? Or is there another acceptable one close by?
As usual, TIA

Inn at the Lakes, the LaQuinta, then maybe the Residence Inn and Holiday Inn Express. Kenilworth, if you don't mind "old charm," and Chateau Elan if you have money to burn!

Chateau Elan at the track can't be beaten for convenience and the bar scene after everyone is off track.

LaQuinta is cheaper and has decent breakfast .

Inn on Lake has best restaurant

In on the Lakes is good, but I had trouble with the WiFi last week.

I used the Residence Inn for as many years as it has been open like the larger rooms they provide, what event are you doing?

Only problem with the Chateau is that you need to book a year in advance for the bigger events. I like the Inn at the Lakes because it has the best restaurant in town. The Holiday Inn Express serves great breakfast and it's available early in the morning.

Lots of racers in Chicanes, the bar at Inn on the Lakes. Agree that it's the best restaurant in town

Holiday Inn Express last year was great. "Quality" Inn this year was low on quality but that is what happens when you make reservations late.

IotL wireless working right now and much faster than it normally does. Have had problems in the past though. Breakfast at 6:30am. The free breakfast has gotten progressively smaller over the years but is still good and fast.

Chateau Elan.

You only ever go elsewhere when they are booked up!

Staying at the track has its perks.

Another fan of Inn on the Lakes and also the bar Chicanes. The restaurant is nice and it really isn't that far to the track.
