Nice!! good job!
Is that the stock gearing on the GT4? (a lot shorter than in other Caymans?)

I've heard there were some issues with limp mode (PSM sensors incorrect reading on the banking) on some cars. How did they fix it ? (I've had that all PCA Race weekend on my car and affects the PDK gearbox)

It is the Stock Gearing, just a very short rear tire.. 25.4" compared to the stock that is almost 28" tall.

The issue was never the PSM or sensors. One factory car had a loose ground wire setting off reduced power for them. Isolated issue.

Think about it - in a good draft that's 175mph+

Well done Rick!

Gt4 is an amazing car. In complete stock setup with street tired straight driven down from dealer I hit 157 into corner 1 with the data trace showing that my body and mind where in conflict as I didn't have my foot all the way to the floor for part of the track between bus stop and turn 1

I think John from bgb hit 162 in his also completely stock on street tires gt4.

Looking at the higher exit speed alone in the bus stop and the gearing change because of smaller tire diameter I think the race car could benefit from taller gearing at Daytona.

My PDK 987.2 cayman had same issue at PCA Daytona this year. Limp mode every time I drove slowly on the banking. Full speed was fine.

Good to know that at full speed was fine. I had also transmission temp issues that forced the car into limp mode so we were not sure if it was independent of the sensor error on the banking or just the temp, or both.

I guess we will figure it out next October now that we have better cooling.

Excellent job, 170+ very impressive.

With the latest SC HD software in your camera you can also display "Fastest lap" in addition to current lap. I like it because you can go to the end of the video ant it shows the fastest lap, you can scroll back to watch that lap, if you don't have ime to watch the whole thing. See you at Sebring.

So this is a privately prepped street GT4 and not the clubsport with PDK??
How much faster if this was PDK??

Very nice.
