Putting together a Chump team with a 924S racecar. Planning on running Mosport, Calabogie, and Watkins Glenn in 2016. Safety first, shiny side up, bring it home team mentality for year one.

Trying to decide on a harness. Looked at the ApexPerformance website, previously used Schroth and very happy with them.

Is the difference in design in the Profi II-6 HANS and the Enduro enough to warrant a logical choice?

With a 12 hour race, and many 8 hour races in the schedule, when I read about the Enduro, it makes sense since we have 4 different size drivers and adjustment time should be considered. But with safety being the overall key (we are all family men and this is our hobby), is the overall design of the Profi II-6 HANS much better?? Yes, we all plan to use a HANS device. Maybe even the new Scroth piece announced at PRI.

I plan on making a purchase very soon... any help, advice, or guidance is much appreciated.

Once guys get the Enduro, they don't go back.

Schroth will be offering them in red as well as black in 2016.

Why the Enduro over the Profi Hans? I need to replace the harnesses in my track car this winter and was going to get the Profi's...

 

The Enduro belts are THE easiest to adjust (while sitting in the seat). All belts should be made that way. You can adjust the lapbelts with the ease of your shoulder belts.

 

Let me know when the red belts are available please....

 

both the shoulder belts and lap belts can be loosened by simply pulling the adjustment tab using only your index finger and thumb. the way all harnesses should be. the profi is a great belt, but usually takes two hands to loosen the shoulder belts. for endurance races, quick driver change is a big deal and the enduro belts save a lot of time. worth the extra $ IMHO, even if you aren't doing driver changes. i'd never go back.

Hmm, I've had no issue with loosening my Profi belts with one hand.

Maybe on an enduro car with multiple drivers it's worth it but can't really see it on my car...

 

I have a Profi style Scroth (I forget what exact one...), when I get the Enduro, I will let you know my thoughts on the difference. This QnA on this thread sold me on it after hearing/reading about the Enduro somewhere else.

 

I concur with the comments here. Had the profi and got the enduro this year. The adjusters are have a cam action, so when you pull to adjust or unlock cam to release, it basically lets go of the belt.
