Default $1000 REWARD: Stolen Custom Porsche Trailer

It's probably the most customized Featherlite 3110 trailer ever. Dual Hydraulic lifts, Tool box, Wind screen, Tire rack, winch with remote control, and even custom Porsche Crests!

It was locked up behind my office and the fuuckers cut two locks and the hydraulic lines to get it. It is very recognizable. If anyone were to see it, please send me a PM. $1000 reward to who ever helps me find it.

Dan

I just don't understand why anyone would steal an open trailer. At least with an enclosed trailer there might stuff inside. What can you do without a VIN number?

Either way it really sucks when someone steals something from you.

Was it insured?

scumbags...........if they are caught, they should be dragged behind the trailer for a few miles........

The trailer does have a VIN number, but in many states such as SC, you don't need tags for your trailer, so the VIN doesn't always come into play in order to use it.

The cops told me that the thieves have vast networks nationally in which they can get rid of the trailer. It is also a possibility that they might take it to a metal yard to just the $$ for scrap aluminum.

Yes, it was insured and I will see how Allstate handles the claim. I had $13K-15K wrapped up in that trailer, although the base trailer itself only cost around $6K. I think I will be lucky to get even half the money I had in it.

If you retrieve it, I personally volunteer to beat the thieves with that tire rod. Sorry to hear that man. Thieves SUCK. I hope you get that beauty back. Did you have a tongue lock - the kind that goes UP inside the receiver?

Ouch! Hopefully you'll get it back fully intact - beautiful set up! One thing you can do in the future is buy a GPS locating "Tile" - I have them on my cars, enclosed trailer, etc. All the best in finding your stuff!

PS: Your trailer reminds me of another "Columbian" residents Featherlite - Mike McMenamin.

My enclosed trailer was stolen with my red e36 m3 inside in May of this year. 2 months later, I found BOTH with minimal damage.

The best thing was posting it on facebook and praying tons of people shared it. Because of that, people saw my post and when the trailer finally resurfaced, I got 2 calls in one day saying they saw it.

People steal trailers because you can re-title it pretty easy.

Do not back on those decals being there. The will take off the obvious or spray paint over them.

I HATE CRIMINALS and I hope you get your property back.

BTW the thieves posted my trailer on a site called OFFERUP.com

I would love to be able to take you up on that offer!

And yes, I indeed had a tongue lock, a bright yellow one that fit inside the receiver.

In retrospect, I think I should have had a wheel lock on the trailer...the types cops use on folks who have unpaid tickets.
