Default Which Mod To Do

I'm contemplating a suspension mod to my 2011 Carrera S which is equipped with PASM and running 19" street tires on the track. This is a dual use car and I don't want to destroy the street ride. The only suspension mod so far is H&R anti-roll bars. Camber is set at -1.1 front and -1.48 rear.

The two options I'm considering are installing GT3 LCA's and increasing the front camber to around -1.5 or installing Techart springs to lower the car another 15 mm. My question is which modification do you think will yield the largest benefit on the track? My home track is Sebring although I do DE events at VIR, Road Atlanta and Barber.

If you have to ask, hire a coach

Without more specifics, I'm with Bob. Usually, the nut behind the wheel upgrade yields the biggest bang for the buck.

I understand and in fact just spent a day with a professional race car driver. We didn't talk about mods. We focused on how to improve my driving not the performance of the car.

I'd suggest you get his view since he would have more background on you and your car than anybody on this board. Absent more information the real answer to your question is "it really depends".

Between the two mods I'd go for the GT3 LCAs but crank in more negative camber then -1.5.

+1

Have a pro coach drive your car and make set up suggestions.
