Thanks! UCR looks like they have their 2016 dates ironed out already.

Mosport also hosts many private clubs:
6th Gear
Apex Driving
Engineered Automotive
DriveTeq

The track usually publishes a yearly schedule online at some point....

Expect Tamworth to make easily make top ten, if not top five when opened next year.

I hear Palmer has received some much needed curbing.
NASA broke about 15 windshields, not to mention headlights, at the fall Club Race.

As I am reading through the replies I am smiling at how lucky we are. For a while there it looked as if the number of tracks was declining, but now we have so many to choose from.

My list with comments.

1. WGI - Best track in the east. Fast, lots of elevation, hard.

2. Mont-Tremblant - A close second to WGI. I used to hate it until I fell in love. There is something about that uphill/downhill section.

3. Lime Rock - History and much harder than it seems.

4. Palmer - this is going to be a fun track. Some curbing and some more tire barriers would make it even better.

5. NHMS - Good dependable track. I actually don't mind this track albeit bumpy as heck.

6. Thompson - not so sure with this one.

I would love to drive VIR, Road America (not the east, I know), mid-ohio, etc.

As I said - so spoiled with so many great tracks to choose from.

I make the hike from here to VIR. Well worth the 15 hour drive!

I don't have a ton more to add...I like the tracks at NJMP a lot, and they're only 2-2.5 hrs south of NYC. Pocono's infield obviously has very little elevation change, and it's only about 90 mins drive from NYC. Last fall I drove the southeast infield configuration for the first time and had a blast - it's short, but there we some fun corners for sure and there's plenty of room to experiment with slip angle and trailbraking. Lime Rock has a ton of history and nuance, plus the karting track in the infield is a lot of fun (endurance karting does good events there). Finally Palmer - the elevation changes and camber are just bonkers, I really look forward to going back.

Mosport and LCMT, The End.

Summit Point Main. I haven't been there in years. But, when the pavement is in good shape, it has a good flow with some nice high-commitment corners that are very rewarding.

Might have to make a point to get back there in 2016.

Chris White and the crew at Summit do a great job. I've been going for almost thirty years (since it was known as Summud Point ) and the last few years have seen huge improvments. The pacement is very good, the curbs are better now, the runoff areas are graded, the walls and trees moved away from the track surface substantially compared to what it used to be. Fast! Rhymic. Fun!

If You like speed Pocono IMSA full coarse. It can be set up ad ran CCW one day and CW the next. CW is faster, fast enough that I'll lay off a little and still hit 150.

you don't need track days there, just drive down to Ile Notre Dame and sneak in. I used to do it on Sundays when I lived in Montreal. Mix it up with Cafe Racers and all kinds. Just slow down at the Expo end of the island. And if the cops come and ticket you, it's still worth it!

I'll second what many have said

WGI
Mosport
Mid-Ohio
Tremblant
and plan to be at Pitt Race this summer with Niagara PCA

all are 2-4 hours away from me (WNY) except Tremblant.

P.S> Tremblant is great family outing/vacation as there is a lot of outdoor thing (hiking, mnt biking, sailing, boat rentals, beach, mountain LUGE) and lots of good restaurants in the pedestrian village
