I know it's a bit out of range, but if you like WGI, you need to go to Mosport. It's the fastest track you'll ever drive; early on it'll scare the pants off of you but the feeling of satisfaction from driving it well is unparalleled.

Calabogie is a 7.5 hour drive, Mosport and Tremblant pretty much the same, VIR is 9.5 hours..

Question - is there a ferry from Oswego (or Rochester) to Oshawa? Would cut out a bit of travel time..

Tremblant is a must drive track. It's Watkins Glen good.

Of the three "local" Canadian tracks, which two do you all recommend? I am planning an over border adventure this summer with a Mustang buddy and we want to hit two (and probably WGI on the way up). I am thinking skip Calabogie.

BLASPHEMY!

Northeast list should always start:

1. Watkins Glen
2. Lime Rock
3. all others
Palmer is pretty epic! To me drives like a longer version of Lime Rock. I prefer current Palmer of Lime Rock.

Lime Rock is history! It is perfection in a tiny track.

Don't get me wrong, Palmer is pretty awesome, but we are comparing apples to oranges.

Lime Rock is a track that is complex for its simplicity. Once you get down under a minute it is a grueling process to shave those tenths off.

Perhaps I am nostalgic because it is the track with which I have the most time. But I think Lime Rock is a really special place.

Tremblant is fun, but I'll never drive the car up there again. It's gotta be trailered.

I've broken down everytime I've been there and support there SUCKS. Simply put, they don't speak english or if they do, they don't care to talk to you in english. Since I don't speak French, trying to coordinate getting the car towed and then explaining what needs to get fixed is a huge chore.

It's a small town, not a lot of garages there. Have I mentioned people only speak French?

Trailer your car there. The track is definitely worth driving. Tow your car there.

Correct, skip Calabogie. It is terrible. 3 or four years ago I went on the famous Mancation to Canada with the World Famous Trakcar. We went to Calabogie, MoSport and Tremblant. MoSport is the bomb!!! Tremblant was cool, too.

For the PO, there are no other tracks anywhere near you like WGI.
East of the Mississippi, here is my list of WGI caliper tracks, no particular order:
1) Sebring
2) Road America
3) VIR
4) WGI
5) MoSport

1. Mosport
2. Tremblant
3. Calabogie

For the OP, Tremblant is my home track and I love it. Calabogie is nice but if you like WGI, you need to go to Mosport.

Mosport and Tremblant, all day long. Designed by the same person and both amazing.
