Sorry matt...Not the right word. I think perfunctory was more in line with my intent. And I did include you in the group of "masters", so don't take offense at some mild ribbing from a mid-packer like me
I don't have an in car camera, so it really is asking to much
I really don't care what's going on inside the car, as long as the view out the front window looks ok

It's all good Glen. You know me, I always gotta answer back!
Thanks for putting me in the list of masters. Not sure I deserve being there as I have never won a class championship or anything notable. I just seem to get lucky sometimes.
The ribbing is good. Makes the racing better. Now if only Rennpoints could show me how bad I suck at Sebring.
Im pretty sure my F boxster drives the sames as a spec boxster but with just more hp.
Id like to have the words of yonker since he drove both and i havnt.
What i like about my f boxster is that i almost always drive it flat out. It makes you work with the car and you need good car control.
Id like to try a spb if anyone looking for an enduro co-driver

Indeed, the F class Boxster is very similar to the SPB. I had the good fortune of driving a Boxster in F class for a year prior to entering SPB, and I can tell you that it definitely helped. I agree with what Glen says and thank him for the kind words. However, I recommend you do not follow me into hog pen.
We should include Jones and Drake, too, those f'ers move along pretty well.....
Great write up Glen, and glad I was able to stir the pot a little bit as it is WAY too quiet here.. As far as "Matt's somewhat disingenuous comments about less brake and more gas", I'M the disingenuous one here until proven otherwise!
Greatly looking forward to learning from you guys (seriously).. Matt (either one), would love to see in-car vids at LR, WGI, TBolt, or Summit if you wouldn't mind sharing!
I am not one of the Pro's, but I feel this video is relevant for the thread/topic and very entertaining. This was my first PCA club race and my first ever race at Watkins Glen. 70+ cars in the run group!! My boxster here had a 2.7L out of an 01 boxster at the time and ran E stock for this race. Most of the field was F-stock boxster S's and E-stock 911's I was driving with. Lots of late braking passes since the lack of power! My car weighed about 200lbs more than a SPB car at this time and I believe my best lap time this day was around 2:14.0. Probably comparable pace to an SPB given it is heavier but slightly more power. 2016 I will be running SPB. Enjoy!
Manny, u did very good , i remember you now while seeing ur video
I was the silver boxster and my friend the matte black car.
That weekend was terrible for me, ran in the sand box due to no brakes/aka abs failure/flat spot. No qualifying time, started last.
And a new to me track and glen could be scary for a 1st timer!

Put up a video or I will tell everyone about the TV you bought at the Summit Point BBQ... "
I understand that the front runners in SPB don't want to share their secrets on a public forum, and I can't blame them for that........
.......especially when you have GaryR now joining in the SPB class....... so......
I have an idea....
I humbly ask that you PM a bottom of the pile, neophyte, rusty racer like myself a pearl or two about racing in a large spec class like SPB.
Consequently, it will make me at least aware of how to stay out of your way when I get lapped......
With the outmost appreciation......

if you think things aren't getting serious in SPB.. get a load of what I found on Yonker. Ya think he's focused on the national championship this season? Now that's commitment.
