Dang! And there has to be a pretty heavy feel to that wheel. No power steering and no ABS. Hail to the King!

I got to visit with Charles Nearburg right when he came in after winning the race and he was pretty stoked. His car was running Avons. It was kind of neat to be there when Bob G. arrived to congratulate him, and not surprising at all to hear Bob ask almost immediately about the boost ****.
Yes.. Avons.. Not sure the compound.

Way cool! What a great event that was. What kind of hp are the 935s putting down? Must be 800 or so?

Great stuff! Thanks for posting. You're a relatively tall fella, and it looks like you were jammed in that cockpit pretty tight--all knees and elbows, hustling it down the track. BTW, love your Nurburgring 24h stint at night in the rain--the stuff of legend. Saw you running the white car at this year's Monterey Historics. Fun trip for my family and me.

Off topic, but is that good ol' Roger from Chasing Classic Cars in your avatar? If so, he was a dashing young lad! Always bothers me that Wayne bosses him around so much in the shop...
