I think it will be a cool fight and wish you guys all the best!
We had the Lambo I track with us during the 24 and its fastest time was a 1:51.2 (assuming they were not sand bagging) that was just .1 faster than me on my 08 Cup.
Cory and Joe on the 3R will be flying out there with the added aero/downforce.
Give 'em hell!

The test was quite valuable. Those Continentals are quite a handful to get on top of - much, much different than the Pirellis we have run on the car all year. The track was really slow on Tuesday (it was quite warm) and we had a lot of rain on Wednesday. However, late in the afternoon yesterday the track was in decent shape and dry. I think we learned a lot and through Cory's (primarily) and Michael Mills' feedback we really improved the balance of the car. Lap times seemed to be right in there with most of the other GTD cars except for the SLS MB and the Viper. Our engine is due for a rebuild and it felt a little soft so we're confident we (the royal "we") can be on-pace with the field.
Interestingly, the GTD cars seemed to be as fast as the GTLM cars on the banking. GTLM was quicker through the corners but really didn't pull us on the straights. In some instances, it appeared as though the GTD cars may have even been a tiny bit faster than GTLM.
Thanks to PMNA who sent out a data engineer to help us with the car. Jerry's always a great guy to have on the car!
