Do you mean to say it's a 3.6 liter? Porsche didn't make a 3.8 liter 911 until the 997.2 models.

997S Gen 1 starting in '05 was a 3.8L. Only what diff is it that is the motor is a crate motor? Its been installed and used for almost 20K miles.
