Default Skip Barber not posting any more LR events?

Just wondering. SBRS previously showed numerous classes at Lime Rock, but the site now shows zero. Is this an end of season anomaly or is there some shift in the political winds at Lime Rock Park?

Nothing political about invoices and checks (or not)...

There is no connection between Skip Barber, owner of Lime Rock Park, and the Skip Barber Racing School.

Hasn't been one for many years (Skip sold the school, most recently in 2001, IIRC), so it's a simple track rental deal.

It IS the end of the season...

I heard they had some problems paying their bills and for that reason we're not able to schedule more LRP events. If true, it's sad because the Skip Barber Racing School used to be a first class outfit.

Wow, if true that is a bummer, and I wish all the best for those guys working at SBRS. I really enjoyed my lessons there. Given the long history the school has had in paying bills I wonder what that says about the real cost to run such schools versus the discounting needed to attract students.

That's been a subject of conversation among the instructor corps for sometime...

The collective wisdom of the longtime instructor corps was (and in some cases still is) the school's greatest asset.

The school.

He's only bought the track once...
