Default Pre-heat cycling NT01's?

I've been told that pre-heat cycling NT01's before you drive them hard on the track for the first time is not that critical, unlike other R-comp tires. Is that true or not?

Not critical but they can be a little squirmy when brand new. If you can get a spirited drive on some twisties to scrub them in, they'll be fine.

I haven't found any difference in grip or longevity with scrubbing them in or not. As noted, they can feel squirmy when at full tread.

Don't need to, I even drove mine 250+ miles each way to the track.
