In the last iteration of the G50 maybe. Or the current 981 generation, I might add. But the current 7-speed manual that's in the 991 leaves a lot to be desired. It's a repackaged PDK box and it shows.

This. The g96 cable shift gearbox or maybe the g97 turbo box was the pinnacle. The Aisin 6spd is nice but not as nice as the Getrags. The pdk based sold manual isn't even a direct linkage anymore. It may as well be paddle shift.
