The Hulk realizes after winning 24hr LeMans that there's not much to this 90 min F1 nonsense, let's it all hang out and wins.

No, it won't happen, but gosh it would be nice if did.

Power track. I think they'll go 2 by 2 with a possibly of Bottas splitting the Ferrari's:

1. Lewis
2. Nico
3. Vettel
4 of 5 Kimi
4 or 5 Bottas
6. Massa

Hamilton. Yawn. Yawn.
Rosberg. Consolation prize.
Vettel. Best of the rest. Not enough car to compete. Yet.
Bottas or Massa
Kimi
Bottas or Massa

So was MB sandbagging today or was the Fiat showing some real speed?

I am going to guess that they were sandbagging. P2 fastest laps are often 2+ seconds faster than P1 fastest lap times. But the Mercs best times in P2 were in the same ballpark as their P1 best times. We will have to wait and see for qualifying as well as the race.

I will do my standard 2015 prediction.

1) Hamilton wins again ... easily.
2) Rosberg finishes 2nd miles ahead of everyone else.
3) Vettel or Raikkonen takes 3rd.

Merc is not sandbagging. But Hamilton behind Maldonado? Something was off with his car or tires.
Tomorrow will be the real test to see if Ferrari has the right stuff at this circuit. I don't know if they did anything big to their cars since Canada that would justify their pace. Maybe we will have the 1st race in 2 years.

They had a lot of issues in Canada that perhaps undermined new-found pace, but we'll know in a day or two.

Vettel! Ferrari will take it to Mercedes in a straight fight.

1-Vettel
2-Hamiton
3-Raikkonen

Hanilton was on the softs. He did not set a time on the super softs.
