I can totally appreciate their quickness and leading the pack. But if you look at the first two races of the season Porsche took pole on each of the races and Audi came out victorious.

What really concerns me is the last race. Audi and Porsche battling for 1st place. Porsche was definitely faster but could not double stint their tires while Audi managed to triple stint their tires which gave them the victory. Tire management may give Audi the edge.

Besides Audi was not too concerned about pole specially in a 24 hr race. http://www.motorsport.com/lemans/new...rsche-for-pole

Big hit for Magnussen (video in the link). Hopefully he's okay and cleared to run tomorrow.

Sadly the Vette is done and the entry is being withdrawn. Chassis damaged beyond repair.

Default Interesting differences in the three cars pictured--

Note leading edge of rear fender. Side pod vents. Roof top scoop. Nose shape. Splitter configuration. I wonder if these are just photo cars. Surely all three at LeMans are alike. They certainly are similarly quick!
I have driven and pulled for Audis since 2000 but this may very well be Porsche's year. Wonder which of my cars I'll drive Sunday afternoon? The Cayman or the old Audi ? :-)
