Default Trackmasters and TracQuest

Has anyone taken any Trackmasters classes? I signed up for a two day session in the beginning of October and I am really looking forward to it. Unfortunately, I'm not sure yet I got in. I did a search here and came up with TracQuest and visited the website. Is Rennlist affiliated with this organization? I see that they too have some days at the end of October at Watkins Glen and I would really like to attend, seeing as how it is so close to me. If I don't get in to Trackmasters, is there still time for TracQuest? Does anyone have any experience with either?

TracQuest is a Rennlist sponsor. I attended one of Todd's events earlier this year at Thunderhill and was very happy - lot's of track time, good people, good food and always important to us novices, good instructors.

Todd runs a very good event. You should have no problem signing up for the October Glen Event. Todd could use more people signing up for his east coast events.

Don't you worry about temperature and possible snowfall at that time of year? I know that we've had some very cold mornings during the last two years with NNJR and that was at the beginning of October.

I think your best contact for TracQuest is via the web site here Most of what you will probably want to know is on the site, but Todd has responded promptly to emails that I have sent in the past.

The end of October you better bring snow tires to the Glen.

I will be instructing at the Trackmasters Oct 1 & 2 Glen event. Look for my car.

Haven't ever done TrackQuest but I go to Tarckmasters all the time. Tony runs a great classroom and the instructors are really good. You get the chance to be on the track with lots of different types of cars ( BMW, Porsche, Corvette, Nascar Trucks, Ferrari, and any of the above race prepared) and once checked out for open track, you can be on the track for up to one and onehalf hours at a time. Open track gets about 5 hours per day on the track.

It's a great organization.

Beautiful car David! I just hope we get in, we were told that we are on a waiting list because they aren't sure they have enough instructors for the Oct 1st and 2nd session. I am looking into TracQuest and with hopefully do both, assuming we get into the novice session of Trackmasters. Hope to see you there!

Tracquest runs a nice event although Todd is mostly a California guy he does a couple of east coast events. I did his Road Atlanta event and had more track time than I could use. With only 50 tp 60 cars it was very open, I think he ended up loosing money on the deal as Road Atlanta is an expensive track to rent and they charge out the ^ss for any extras. I would do anohter TQ event in a heartbeat.
