Seriously, the other league that I am in uses the Castrol GP website and you only have to pick the top ten order, pole, fastest lap, and who has the most passes.
I don't get this fantasy team stuff. I'm going to have to block out a few days of intense study to figure this out.

I was born and raised on LI - maybe that is my issue!

dont ready to much into it, its for fun but take a look at the rules. I run the thing but Ray must be paying Bernie since he wins most years.

Alright... I think my teams are set... Not sure I totally understand the scoring. Not because it's complicated, but because it requires reading and understanding...
If I understand this right, after 3 races, there is a big reset of value and we get 7 additional changes at no penalty?
After every race, we can make 3 changes with no penalty?
Looks like fun... but I could not find Takuma Sato in any of the driver lists.

Correct, You can make unlimited changes before the first race. After the first race you are allowed to change three variable/components for you team with no penalty. Change more than three components (after the first race) and you will be penalized.

My first piece of advice is create a second team. The second team will allow you to try multiple strategies.

Ok, I'm in. I've created my two teams, (Pete and RePete) but was looking for a third to be named ThreePete)... sorry for the corny joke, I'm hopped up on Nyquil right now and RL is keeping me entertained.
I'll try to adjust as the races go on, last time I let it go from the initial picking of teams, chassis, drivers, engines etc. and came in mid pack. Hoping to beat Ray who is the King of the F1 fantasy league.

Don't be discouraged if you have a bad first race. Something usually whacky happens, and if you have all your eggs in one basket (like having Hammy as your driver and he gets a DNF), you won't get many points.
Just hang in there. You can make it up over the next few races.

This just in. Sauber resolves driver dispute and announces it will field just one car with three drivers and three steering wheels. Despite the odd look they also feel that it is a sound cost cutting move that should allow them to the get thru the entire season.

Can an admin put this as a sticky at the top of the forum page? It's easier to find that way. thanks!
