Default Road Atalanta Club Race 3-26 - 3-29

We will again be doing Trackside Support for the Road Atlanta Club Race. If you need something delivered to the track please preorder. We usually have all PFC
compounds and pad shapes for all Porsche models on the trailer plus rotors and hats.

In addition we have a full line of OMP, Adidas and Stilo products with us. But just to be sure we will have what you need, contact us in advance.

A few new items we will have are:

Simpson helmet dryer

Stand 21 Lid Lifter (A great alternative to the Eject system that expires and is dependent on special equipment.)

Stop by and say hi even if you don't need anything!

+1 for clark and linda, awesome folks

Clark, I will be there with the new rig.

You and Linda need to stop for coffee or whatever. Hope it doesn't rain like last year.

Based upon the rain the last 4-5 years think Road Atlantis may be a more appropriate name.
Steve thanks for the invite we will be over.

Yeah, but Friday could be wet. Like F1 says, it's RA in the spring, it always rains.

I wonder if I am the only one who questions PCA decisions on Classes in each group. I can't understand why 1970's street 911s would be placed in the same race group as 2012 Cayman GTB1 cars. There is probably a 12 sec/lap speed differential. For me, this compromises my enjoyment of the weekend.
Add this to the fact that all reasonably close races are no longer on the calendar and I my have to look for a car suitable for NASA or just hang up my suit. I know, VIR is only 6 hrs away, but neither me nor my car really enjoy racing in 95 degree temps.

Ok. Off the soap box.

Randy
It's a numbers game - blame on the abundance of SP cars! but if you take 138 cars and divide them into 3 classes, you get approx 45/class. There are already 47 between SP1,2,3 and SPB. Throw in the GT6 and B cars and you're over 50 in the first group.
In the top group, the difference between the J and the fast GTA2 cars might be nearly 20 sec/lap!!

Very nice day today! 70-72 degrees, partly cloudy with sun and a light breeze.

NO rain...
