McLaren P1 GTR
So where do you think one of these will show up in the U.S. first in an actual owner's hands? COTA? Monticello?

It's a pity these cars will never race. They should bring back some form of GT1 racing, where you can have Porsche, Ferrari and McLaren race eachother in their new hypercars.
Then again, I think they don't have the budget to do so, with all their obligations in WEC and F1 right now.
You ll probably see one at the track, once, in the first months of it being delivered, driven at 50% of its potential, and that's it.
Same story with the Carrera GT, McLaren P1, Porsche 918 etc. Where I live they tend to pop up at Spa when the car is just released, to be never seen again afterwards.

Last fall, I took my 1972 Lotus Élan Sprint to a local small, informal car show. To my shock, there was a McLaren P1 there, and the owner said that he expected to see some track this year. I hope he does - just sitting in that thing and looking at the complete carbon fiber safety shell was cool.

Shame that the regulations don't allow the hypercars of today a place to race like they did in the era of the original F1, the 911 GT1, Mercedes CLK-GTR, those were some exciting times... Super cool car though!
