IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING COUNTERFEIT PRODUCT
Someone is counterfeiting a head and neck device. Being sold on Ebay, racing junk and other places. Here's the link to the SFI notice.

Bastages. Seems like these cheap Chinese counterfeits are everywhere. Getting to be a PITA to buy anything these days.
At least this appears to be confined to cheap outlets like Ebay. I am an accomplished tightwad, but new safety gear from Ebay?

This isn't the first time that we've seen counterfeit H&N devices. Last time it was HANS, but they were very bad copies and didn't have the certification stickers. These latest ones have counterfeit certification stickers. After 25 years of helping drivers select the right safety gear we've seen it all. Counterfeit gear, counterfeit SFI suit patches, counterfeit Snell stickers and certified gear that when tested fails to meet minimum standards. The quality and design of some current products is less than stellar. If at anytime there's a piece of gear that you're thinking of buying and you're not sure of it's certification, check the SFI or FIA site.
