965 Tire sizes
I am going to 18" wheels on my C2T. What is the maximum size and preferred offset for this car? It is a dedicated track car. I searched the old posts but I didn't find anything definitive.

Justin, 285 rear and 245 front would be easy, but I've seen guys squeeze more back there as I could fit those sizes on my narrowbody C2.
I'm certain that 325/335s would fit in the rear and 275s up front...but don't know the standard 18" tire widths.
Backspacing can be adjusted in 3mm steps...but use longer wheelstuds if you have to put more than 5mm on!

Dear Justin,
Wouldn´t it be better searching for the tyre sizes which suit the competitive abilities of the 964 Turbo. They may well not be the widest maximum size you can get but a combination which provides the best traction. Remember that tyres have a significant impact on under steer and over steer. Matching of tyres to your suspension set up also helps. I advise you seek a little more expertise in the matter. Just stuffing in the maximum sizes front and rear may not provide you with what you want. A competitive track 964 Turbo that handles well.
