I can't figure out how to import the article but it is a favorable review.

If any of you are curious about the cockpit layout. Pretty simple.

Another great article from Randy Pobst:

More exciting stuff. They started on my car last week (Chassis #20). It won't be long now.

College is overrated, says the parent of 2 private college grads.

Chad, are you assembling the kit yourself or having elan do it?

I would of liked to. But in the interest of time, I'm having Elan do it (See above pic's, that is my chassis going together). My wife suggested having them build it. She must like spending time with me still . Plus, I just got done building a car.
There is something about a real racecar being built by a real racecar manufactuer.

I'm going to have plenty of time to play with it, while adding stuff to it (Lights, radio, etc).

Congrats on your upcoming acquisition. A local guy bought one and brought it out to a recent NASA DE/race weekend. Very impressive-looking machine. If I already had a tow vehicle and trailer (and a place to store them), I'd be sorely tempted to take the plunge.

I visited Elan this week and saw my Chassis. All I can say is WOW. The Elan/Deltawing facility is amazing. Such a cool place.

Here are some sneak peeks of my body getting wrapped in various stages (Sans numbers and sponsors, and not quite finished).

Also pictured is my chassis with motor/trans installed. It will be ready for pick up March 1st. It cant come soon enough.

Chad,

Beautiful car, can't wait to hear your impressions once you get it on a track.

Chad,

The car looks great! When will you be getting it? One my PRC friends has their NP01 and are awaiting updated uprights on all four corners. Elan seems to be real good about replacing parts that are of faulty design or made out of the wrong material. If he get the parts in time he plans on running it at Sears Point in a few weeks at the NASA event.
