Best cordless impact wrench

That is a good deal, especially considering it comes with a 5 AH battery (about $130 alone) and a charger... I think I paid almost that for the bare tool!

Not much mention of Makita on this thread, but I've been happy with their system. Everything is well engineered, and the batteries last many years. Their big impact driver is very powerful, and available as a bare tool on Amazon. The dual-action trigger on the 1/2" driver takes some getting used to, but to me is more foolproof than changing rotation via a slide switch.

Home Depot deal
Bringing back an old thread. I’ve been looking at impact wrenches and wanted to share this bc it seems like a pretty good deal:

Drifting
you don't think the higher torque on the Ridgid makes it a better value (I love Milwaukee BTW and already have a bunch of their stuff)?
Ridgid:
Impact Wrench: Maximum torque output of 485 ft./lbs. of torque in forward and 620 ft./lbs. of torque in reverse for heavy-duty applications
Milwaukee:
Thoughts?

- 2663-20 provides 450 ft./lbs. of torque to perform a wide range of fastening applications
Thoughts?

If you already have a bunch of Milwaukee, it's a no brainer. Why have 2 different batteries, chargers, etc. I don't know how the torque is measured, but I am plenty happy with the Milwaukee. It hasn't met a lug nut yet that it couldn't handle. I decided to try them after realizing my shop used them.

The combo deals are great.
I am assuming the OP that started this thread 6 years ago tomorrow has probably already bought his impact wrench though....
