I would like to host a two day AIM Data Seminar, presented by the talented Roger Caddell on January 17-18 in the Tampa FL area. I'm looking for a show of interest at this point. We could do the class with a few as 15 but closer to 25 would be great.

A more detailed outline of the two days will follow but for now the basic program will be beginner information on day one and more advanced topics day two. I attended Roger's seminar a couple years ago and I admit that I learned more than I thought I would on the first day (an much more on the second), so don't think that the basic sessions will be a waste of your time. Roger is extremely knowledgeable and has an enormous amount of real world data use. Truly a worth while seminar if you are interested in adding or improving your data effort.

I will also have many of the current AIM products at the session so you can get a good look at them and see how they operate.

All the way from Cali.....unless maybe Dave Ferguson puts on a seminar in the West, but for now, I am in. May I get a hotel recommendation from you? Close to the seminar...better yet on the site of the seminar, clean, no smoking, you know the drill.

Sweet! I'm working on the logistics. The seminar will be very close to the Tampa (TPA) airport. I need to see if I can cut a deal with a nice hotel. More details coming soon.

Man that would be great. I have some fairly decent wine that came off my vineyard in 2010...it was 42 months in oak, bottled about 6 months ago...a Petit Sirah. It was produced under bond so it is sellable. But for you...your money is no good here.

Naroescape!! Genius! What a plan! Come to Tampa on 1/15 or 1/16...do the seminar over the weekend, then screw off you about a week, showing up on Saturday the 24th for the start of the 24 Hours. Wow, what a plan....I need to see if tickets are available to the 24 Hours.

Both of us normally work from home, so a hotel in Daytona is no different assuming they have good wi-fi. We usually come down the sunday before, work during the day Mon-Wed, head to the track usually Thursday afternoon with testing and practices, hang out with the TRG guys, etc....., help Autometrics with the Conti race on Friday, then do the 24 all day Saturday-Sunday.

Nadine did Roger's short seminar at MSX Expo last year. She really wants to learn data...would do it for a living if she could...but very early on the learning curve right now...this would be great!

Bob, this training would also enhance Nadine's status as a PCA Scruit. We need more Scruits willing to take on the "Data" gathering at events.
