FS: 2010 Aluma open trailer with tire rack
2010 Aluma 8218WB Open Aluminum Trailer - $6,000 – approx.. 1,400 lbs
• 2-3500# Rubber torsion axles - Easy lube hubs • Electric brakes, breakaway kit
• Removable aluminum fenders • Extruded aluminum floor • Front retaining rail • A-Framed aluminum tongue, 48" long with 2-5/16" coupler • 6' Aluminum ramps with storage underneath
• Fold-down rear stabilizer jacks • Double-wheel swivel tongue jack, 1200# capacity • LED Lighting package, safety chains • Overall width = 101-1/2" • Distance between fenders = 82"
• Alum tire & wheel upgrade
• Spare tire mounting bracket
• Custom tire rack with compression plates
• Large UWS Aluminum trailer box with lock
Here are some additional details:
1. I added a bolt and handle like to each side of the tire carrier. Its especially nice if you are using the trailer without tires as it stops the bar from jumping and making a ton of noise. Also stops the rattle when driving with tires.
2. In order to clear the front rail I bought a square aluminum beam and bolted it to the trailer bed securely and then bolted the fuel jug rig to it. I am including the fuel jugs with the trailer as well.
3. Because I wanted to secure the ramps in case I ever had to park in a hotel parking lot I bought a couple of long shackle master locks and made a sleeve for each one. I drilled a small hole by each ramp and click them in place which prevents the ramp from being removed. I didn't drive with them on - I just clicked them in place when I got to where I was going.
4. As you can see from the picture of my car on the trailer I'm liberal with the painter's tape.
5. The front box holds a ton of stuff. I currently have in it an aluminum jack, two heavy duty jack stands, three camping chairs, a movers padded tarp, a large duffel bag of straps, a spare axel for my 944, and some assorted parts. (This stuff is not included - I'm just trying to show how much it holds.)
This is a great trailer that I bought at the beginning of this season. The problem is I am out of garage space due to all the junk I have (lawn tractor, snowblower, bikes, etc.)and need an enclosed trailer to store the car. I also don't want to have to worry about rain if it starts drizzling at a track without a garage as this car doesn't have any windows. With my 944 I would just roll up the windows.
If I could afford to keep this trailer and an enclosed trailer I would definitely keep both as this trailer is really nice. The previous owner, Frank, maintained it properly, and I did the same for the several months of my ownership.
Would like to hold firm on $6,000 as that is what I paid for the trailer plus the improvements less a few hundred. I believe that to be fair. Shoot me a PM if interested.
Trailer is located in Fairfield, CT. I am willing to split the travel difference up to 1 hour in order to make a deal. Shoot me a PM if interested or any questions.
Thanks.

In my 944 I don't have to take the fender off - the door clears. In my Cayman I have to take the fender off.
Trailer is in Fairfield, CT.
Let me know if you are interested. There is interest but so far no one has pulled the trigger. Its a great trailer.

Coochas - If I ever win powerball I will absolutely go with your suggestion. Its the umbrella girls that go with a rig like that which really cost a lot of money!

Did I mentioned that this trailer is a suitable gift to yourself for Thanksgiving? That is why it is called Thanksgiving. You give something to yourself and you are thankful for it.

I know this trailer will sell in 10 minutes this coming spring but would love to sell before the winter. Having two trailers in my driveway is going to make plowing a little tricky.

It will sell for sure
When I heard you were selling your trailer, I was picturing the OLD trailer!
This is very nice! If I close on my new car, possibly I'll be calling. Sold my 944 Turbo today.
P.S. For a couple extra bucks are you throwing in the car?

Hard to sell a trailer in the northeast with snow on the ground. Bumping to show it is still for sale. I guess I will have it come spring when I am sure it will be sold in 2 minutes.
If there is any interest now let me know so my plow guy has room to pile any snow before winter is over!
