Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm both are true!

Safety is always my highest priority.
I wasn't implying that at all. It's just I don't like giving rides to people as time went on particularly if someone wants a ride and his helmet has no h&n restraint system. Last time I rode shotgun with one of my buddies who had a well dialed in zo6. He was on a proper race seat with 5 point harness and h&n restraint. I was on stock seat with 3 point belt. It's really my fault for wanting to ride as a passenger and won't do it again. Live and learn. I felt like I was going to fly out the car. I was constantly checking the door making sure it wouldn't open up. Look at Sean Edwards- who woulda thought that would happen- u just never know. Mike

Heavier car cannot be faster than same but lighter car. So if your lap times indeed drop with more dead weight in the cabin it can only mean your corner weights are wrong and with additional ballast on the right seat you get better grip in front and it results with faster lap times.
I presume it is not something psychological, of course and i presume you measured those times and g forces.

Put some ballast in front, like 100lb and see on a lap timer if it changes anything. If it does, adjust rake or springs or may be get bigger front splitter as your rear wing is indeed huge.

I saw on previous screen aim graph, do a math channel for a measured accelerometer lateral g force - gps lateral g and check how this line differs with and without extra weight.

I had a 350 lb buddy of mine seated next to me at LS in my 90 hp mk1 vw gti cup many years ago. My car at exit of t2 kept going wider and wider and went off track. We laughed bigtime because I knew who's fault it was- lol. Mike

Look here:

https://rennlist.com/forums/997-gt2-...p-times-3.html

That thread would suggest that you are at least several seconds away from the limit of the car with no passenger. To what percent of the limit do you think are you driving with no passenger in the car? How about with a passenger? How close to the limit are you trying to drive?
