I have been dealing with GT-Racing for many years, my '73 was even on their catalog cover years ago.

I needed some custom pipes made to attach SuperTrapp mufflers to my “European Racing Headers” (now made by GT-Racing) so they would not stick out too much as used on their normal "street adaptors" which allow mounting stock mufflers.

I called Joel Godfredson, who now runs the company started by his father Hank, and he was extremely helpful and interested in my application. It's a very simple set of pipes but he said they were working on something similar, as many clubs (SCCA) and tracks have sound limits which prevent using megaphones.

I gave him my ideas and he was happy to make up a custom set, and got the built and shipped FAST, well in time for our PCA race at MMC in about a week. I hope they can use this idea and make a product for others, so you don't need to buy two expensive supertrapps, and cut them to weld on a flange.

Great service like this is really appreciated these days.
