As for NA$CAR putting money into the track, these vintage stands on the main straight have remained untouched, looks like inception but for as along as I've been going to RA.

10A-B were repaved, a spectator walking path was added between the vendor village and spectator hill areas, and the rumble strips were repainted (twice!). So a few things have happened. The grandstand area isn't a great place to watch from anyway :P

Guess that's something.

Last time I raced there in late Aug. even the paddock a/c hook-ups were still few and far in between and those that worked did so intermittently and easily tripped. In ambient 96F temps a/c (and AC) would have been nice.
