Personally I'd just keep a spare set at the track. New arms are very cheap. figure less than $50 each so I think it best just to have a spare set. With your springs and tires you will not be stressing them more than most of 944-spec guys. I broke one of these at willow springs after I went off track at high rate of speed and hit a shallow berm. Nice thing was it took the damage (Bent & cracked) and after a simple replacement I was back on the track. If the part had been more stout I might have broken something more expensive or not as easy to replace. Nice thing about steel also it that it will bend and is not likely to have completed break failure like in aluminium castings. So you might bend on on the track, but you should be able to safely drive back and replace it vs completely breaking a stock aliminium one sending the car off in to a wall.
Just my opinion.

There is a Blaszek guy in Canada I think that sell's boxed arms for $200 ea or so. If i were to box I's just weld on metal on the outside edge and add a second strap over the busing hole.

M758,Good enough! Thanks! I heard of this but not sure if my arms would be needing this and they are cheap to replace. I am set then...Thanks Dal
