Normally when dealing with a service provider I set my expectations low so when I feel someone has gone beyond the call of duty I like to give praise.
Such is the case with Chris over at Clubregistration.net
I like to look at my registration history and noticed at the time that it did not contain information on the track I visited. In order to see what track I visited on a certain date I had to click the event details. I sent an email over to them and got an email back less than 24 hours later saying that they liked the idea and made the change! Wow!
I then had another question (something I was doing wrong) and got a call from Chris to walk me through the steps. Chris is also a car guy so we wound up speaking for a while until someone walked into my office and I had to get back to work.
Thank you again to Chris at clubregistration.net! I just hope that this post doesn't inundate Chris with a bunch of requests, except if it is for additional business from other regions or clubs.
edit - title should be "shout out" but I don't know how to change that!

Another fan of Clubreg - I use it for our DEs and it works very well. Chris is very responsive to problems and good ideas.

I am always surprised when registration opens for a Club Race and 50+ people are able to sign up simultaneously without a hitch.

Yes, at least while I was PCA CR chairman Clubregistration.net was not for profit, hosted by an extraordinarily dedicated PCA member, Chris Alvarado, in Texas.
Chris devoted hours and hours of his time and his staff's time, designing and maintaining the site.
The comparison between being a registrar for any site that has CR.net hosting registration and what it was like "in the dark ages" before internet registration is striking. Ask Susan Shire or any other registrar that used to have to deal with mailed registrations and countless phone calls what it was like back then.
I believe that the only income that Chris derives even today from CR.net is through ads and payments from vendors who have links on his site.
Contrast that with "the other" major registration site that charges organizations for the privilege of having their registration on its site.
Every time I see Chris I give him a big "Thank You"!

The student evaluation program w/ipads at LSRPCA events is pretty awesome. I can look at a history of evals, who was in the right seat, ask them questions, and get familiar with the student long before I get in.
CR is a killer app for club events.
