Nicest one I've seen so far. The interior details really finish it off perfectly.

I knew I should have got my daughter into carting when she was younger.

Beautiful car and a great story Leh. Enjoy!

Perfection. Hope your dad drives the stink out of that one!
My dream garage would have an RWB, a Singer, and a Ruf Rt-12.
OK, and one of these, just because:

how does the build process go? do you buy a concept he has in his mind, do you get to spec the basics (donor car, interior exterior), or do you get to be really involved with stuff like brakes/suspension/other components, setup, etc?

love the car btw, it looks great. been following your progress on instagram for a while. thanks for sharing

Cool. That's always been one of my key questions when seeing these cars.

You chose the color of the car and which style bumper. There are 2 dif front bumpers for the 993. He only does the body. So it's totally up to you to complete the car. I designed the intr of this car 100% and had it done after we got the car back from Cali. Came out great and fits the extr nicely.

Suspension. Power. Everything is up to you also. But you have to have coilovers on the car before he comes to build.

We didn't even really know when he would build it. He just showed up in Cali and we flew out 2 days later to watch him finish it. Takes about 3 days total. He is the only one that touches the car.

Glad to see a big normally aspirated engine. You don't need 600hp and turbo lag to have fun.

I'm next, I will send you the adoption papers to sign, Leh.

Thanks for posting. Saw an article on him in a car mag a while back--his builds have such great presence about them. Very mean and purposeful-looking. Something tells me your Dad's is one of only a handful in the States.

Awesome interior design. Love the checker cloth that you did. Great mix of modern racer and old-school. I remember seeing your E92 a couple of years ago on m3post--loved what you did with that, too, with the BBS wheels.

I became a lifetime fan of yours when I saw the /Drive piece on Youtube documenting your epic Nurburgring 24 drive in the dark and rain.
