Macan Turbo @ Spa

Maybe I just haven't had enough Porsche kool-aid, but I really cannot figure out why you would want to take a Macan to the track.
We had a guy in the advanced run group run a new Macan last weekend. All I could think of was "WHY???"
I mean, it looks like a very nice small SUV. But you are talking about a race track here. ~4200 lbs is doing you no favors. Nor is the high center of gravity.
I guess there is some novelty in doing a fast lap in something that shouldn't do a fast lap, but I would rather be in something MUCH MUCH lighter and MUCH MUCH lower when at the track.

+1.....
I have taken my Jeep SRT on a couple of tracks, capable truck, but not a race car......
So now I can say that "I have been there, done that......"
There is just much more enjoyment on a track with a purpose built vehicle......
