Default Automobile magazine fires Jean Jennings and 50% of the staff

Sad to see - I used to really like the magazine, but haven't read it in years (probably since Rennlist took over my life).
I guess I am part of the problem.
Jean was always fun to read, as was David E. ('don't call me Dave') Davis.

Too bad. That is probably one of the better general auto mags out there on this side of the pond.

I always thought Evo was a much better magazine, although Automobile was one of the better ones, relative to R&T, MT, etc.

I don't think they have ceased publishing, but perhaps rethinking the model (like a lot of publishers).

That's a shame. I've been a subscriber (still am) since they first started in 1986.

Since Road and Track has changed its format, it has become my favorite car mag.

that's disappointing, it's the only US mag really worth reading, higher quality of writers than the others.

Rick, if you think Rennlist has taken over your life, consider joining RA: Rennlisters Anonymous. The problem is that you need to realize that there is a higher power than Rennlist. I stopped right there.

I recall reading her in C&D as Jean Lindamood--that had to be back in, like, the 80s

Good grief, how time flies.....
