Another RUSH cast Death
Mauro Pane, the stunt driver who portrayed Niki Lauda on track during the filming of RUSH was killed in in a car crash.

So sad. First Sean Edwards was tragically killed and now Mauro Pane.
What a tangled web this movie seems to weave. Filled with overlapping lives.
Sean Edwards was hired by the producers who subsequently learned that it was his father Guy Edwards who was one of the drivers struggling to save Lauda in his fiery crash. (As I read from various sources).
Rush wasn't a flashy CGI trick show. There were real drivers working in there. Real people.
RIP for another member of the RUSh team.

Sad to hear.
I had no idea that Sean Edwards was related to to one of the driver's at Lauda's rescue. Interesting indeed.
