Default Performance friction pfc11 vs pfc01 pads

Anyone run both of these compounds? I would like to know if the 11 really has as much bite as the 01. Pfb web says they are the same, but I'm after some real world feedback.

I have only driven one car with the 11's, and on that particular car, yes they did. I have not used them on my own car yet, however.

OK, thanks. Its interesting that the 11 compounds are cheaper than the 01. Speaking with PFC, they tell me the change was a result of the cost of some of the compounds used to make the 01. You would expect that using these cheaper compounds would result in some minor performance reduction. It is also interesting that the 11 rotor wear rate is supposed to be half of the 01 rate, yet the pad wear is similar to better.

Default PFC 11 Compound

In almost all pad shapes the 11 compound is more expensive than 01
Was. Sounds like PFC in AU may be monkeying with the MSRP.
11, 12 and 13 compounds were designed for Porsche Motorsports who required less metallic abrasive in an attempt to go "green".
Have not actually used the 11 compound myself but can tell you that
Of all I have sold replacing 01....... Not one complaint.

I ran them on a 996 Cup. I had raced on the 01s in my old E/F car. The 11 is easier on the rotors for sure. I like the feel and the release. Not as touchy when the got hot as the 01s were, so therefore the 11 is easier to modulate. Like Clark, I haven't had a complaints about them, but one customer with an RSA that races in G said he thought the 01 had slightly more bite, but admitted that he could be wrong and pointed out that he has always loved the 01 so he was a little biased.

I think I'm going to miss the 01s. I've only got one set left and when I've looked at prices, the 11s were more expensive than 01s.

I suspect that gov regs is what drove out 01s and 06s. Gov regulation to lower prices - that's pretty funny right there.
