setup wheel question
someone asked me, i had no answer.
on the porsche setup wheels, in the cup car, RSR and R manuals they list the same setup wheels. and then different inserts depending on the car.
my question is, why do they list that you need 2 "fixed" and 2" wheel" styles. im about 100% the "wheel" style have a pivoting bearing or wheel at the bottom to adjust as suspension changes. but why would they require two fixed, and two 'wheeled" ones instead of just 4 wheeled ones?

It's probably so that the car doesn't slide laterally off the scales. Having just one side with the rollers would prevent any suspension binding at all 4 corners when making changes.

fixed are the rear stands
so the car wouldn't dance on the scales (specially when you shaking it)
I'm going to have a several sets of pictured stands for sale. They work for any Porsche 5-lug as well as Center lug
Also 1 set made for BMW 5-lug
All stands made with bearings and each stand has a bearing lock for the same purpose.
Will fit wheel sizes from 20" and under, OD up to 30".
