Shipping Q, help
Hey guys,
any suggestions to ship wheel across country? East Coast to Left Coast. Albany to Mooty country? I checked with Greyhound. Anyone with any experience with a reliable LTL shipper that they recommend?
Thankx, in advance, for any help.

I shipped four sets of fuchs with tires from NY to Arizona. Uhual makes boxes that are prefect to fit two wheels. It cost around $70 insured to ship through UPS (2 boxes). If you ship through a family members, friend, etc., business you can get a discounted rate.

Three Wheelin'
I've had wheels shipped before just leaving the tires on and putting cardboard over the wheel outside and inside faces for protection. The tires protect the wheels too, but add weight of course.
I've shipped large items with Greyhound a few times. It's always worked out for me, but they are a bit disorganized and are known to misplace shipments! Definitely cheaper than UPS, Fedex, etc. for large items though.

Use UPS and be done with it.
