super cool.....but scary.... The airport isn't far away from Thunderhill either....I have seen some NASA officials who fly in for events take T1 at about 150 knots, just above the hill....it was cool

I was addressing Peter's point about the landing strip approach being over the track.

It looked like he was low enough that he was lucky he didn't prop strike one of the bushes.

sorry, but i have to disagree fully. i do it for a living. it is stupid, and much like the track, there is no place for stupidity in flying. very similar to street racing.
