Just awesome!

Indeed ...

And it was a great track. I had the pleasure of driving there a few times in my 914s. A scary track though! Especially the series of turns following the front straight ...

Did my very first DE there in 1995 with my 79 930. For those of us lucky enough to have driven "The Bridge" it will always be one of our favorites, if not thee favorite. Great memories.

Barrels are at the right hander into Millstone Straight..that's where it ends now. I did a rally there in the fall in my E-Type Jag, and did what's left of the straight as fast as I could until I ran out of road and *****.

On some of the videos there were cones on driver's right, way past pit out but before the pedestrian bridge.

Why?

These were taken a couple of years ago. I had google earthed the track, and found that a good deal of it was still there. I drove up Millstone, and found a entrance with a sign saying "PRIVATE PROPERTY NO TRESPASSING" which to me meant, "VISITORS WELCOME"

The flag station and the armcro are on the left after you pass under the "bridge"

All good memories

WOW - I did Bridgehampton a lot -- looking at these pix sure makes the place look way dangerous -- it never seemed that way to me at the time.
