Electric Turbo on new Audi R18
I was just reading on the Audi R18 and not only does it have a MGU on the front axles, but it also has one in the turbo! The turbo is driven by both exhaust and an electric motor/generator so they will be able to reduce lag, electronically limit boost, etc. Pretty neat stuff!
