You can't tell your wife, I don't want her blaming me when you decide you have to have one

That's a great car Tim. It will serve you well. A very good decision also ridding yourself of all that power and technology to help you become an even better driver. Look forward to seeing you out there in it!

Congrats! And you know Pat is having a bittersweet moment getting rid of that car.

Long live the Martini!

Tim, you picked up a very nice car. Do you plan to go racing? Hope so, you'll enjoy the next step either way.

Just confirmed this is my old G car.

Except for the cage, I built it all.

I loved that car, mostly because I spent so many hours in it in the garage. It is very fast, holds/held several track records on the east coast. I'm sure with Jim Buckley working on it it only got faster.

Congrats, great car. But you have to race E stock with it. It's a blast, and a great group of racers.

It's what these cars were built for, and any Buckley car is going to be great.

+1

While I respect you Tim for taking a step back and showing up at a modern day DE in an old air-cooled momentum car, this car was built to be raced (and has quite a PCA club racing pedigree). Get out there!

How did it get from G to E, decal change?

I don't need any encouragement to go racing, it's in my blood, but I did take my wife to see Rush a month ago.
