I know it's short notice and a long shot. But I thought it would be worth a shot.

Jason Hart put a post on Facebook for a ride in a 996 Cup. Not sure if its still available.

One of his customers is doing it and may still have a seat. I believe the Jason Hart related car is going to run the 8 hour at rd Atlanta instead but that may change if another driver wants to try the 25. Chris Smith Racing was helping them with that effort so I expect either Jason or Chris could answer your questions on that one.

Happy Thanksgiving to all!!

Guys thanks.
I don't have the budget for a Cup Car seat. I couldn't afford to replace it in the event of a total loss.
I was hoping for a ride in something worth around $ 20- $ 30K Something I could stroke a cheque for if the car was totaled. I'm not sure how the 25 hr teams do it but My chump car team has an agreed value for our cars and if it gets wadded up while your behind the wheel. You're on the hook for the damage up to the agreed value.
I've never driven a Cup so I wouldn't be comfortable behind the wheel.

Happy Thanksgiving to all my American friends.

They solve your problem using insurance. The thill seat cost in a 6 cup is @ 20k with insurance. Then if bad stuff happens you pay the deductible and move on. If you break a motor or gearbox then that's different, the above insurance is for wrecks not mechanical failure... So if the motor blows make sure to have a wreck ....
