Default How to import Smartycam HD data in Race Studio?

Situation:

I have AIM XML Pista data of the car.
I have the Smartycam HD SD card of the car.

How to merge the 2?

When I open a video in Race Studio Analysis I see no way of syncing it to the data already there, and I don't find anything in the docs.

Help?

I can't speak to the SmartyCam HD... but for the regular SmartyCam, you have to set up your overlay profile in the SmartyManager *before* the video is recorded - and then it overlays the data from the dash in real-time as it records the file(s).

If you're trying to merge the two after the fact, you may need a third-party video overlay setup.

I don't want to overlay data. That is already done on the video. I want to sync the video frames with the data inside Race Studio Analysis, to have more info when checking out the data.

Not possible. Have tested every permutation.

This is the reason for Race Studio 3.

You, ShakeNBake and I will be ALL over it, along with others!

Or, what I do now is this... <very big grin>

Before anyone gets their panties in a wad, the lap numbering convention is different (TM doesn't count incomplete laps, AiM does. This event, we entered the track from another paddock, hence the count mismatch), there IS a lag in the render of information (speed, particularly) on the AiM video (to be expected). The total time is used to roughly match it, then it's fine tuned in Traqview. It works for my work, now.
