Default Damn Audi R8 holding me up......

Something you don't see everyday- An Audi R8 leaving a door wide open- I'll take it!

I guess everyone needs to learn the track at some point

The SVRA COTA race was awesome! It is such a great place.

I also got a point by from a Penske DHL Spyder RS........ (He did pass me under a double black, then gave me the spot back.... like it mattered! haha)

Here are a few pictures- They combined Group 10 and 11 for Thursdays practice sessions. I got down to a 2:32. My little 2.5L was surprising some much higher HP cars!

I could of knocked another 2-3 seconds off, but my tranny went bye bye in the 1.5 hour enduro.

Great pics! What a cool event. I hope when PCA returns to COTA, they use some sense & put grid where it should be & where you guys had it.

Yes, they all did. I was in group 10 because of my Hoosier R6's (Against SVRA EAST rules, so they threw me in class GT3 3.0L and under. The RSR guys (~3.8L's and slicks) they were class GT2.
We were stuck with all the NASCRAP cars too. The RSR's looked great. Makes me want to build one.

From what I've seen at the Sebring Historics, it's clear that Vintage racing is a venue for most of the prototype guys to take there car on Parade laps! It's great to see you run yours through the paces!

Chad,
Audi R8 is misleading. Its an LMP1! FYI, your car is far more interesting and better looking.

Thanks Guys-

It was so fun being out there. I'm planning on going next year. It is such a long tow though from CA.

The interest in these old car is awesome. I had a guy come by twice and offer to buy my car on the spot. I said it wasn't for sale. I should of sold it before I lost 3rd gear!
